Independent and family-owned, we are a local full-service mortgage broker with the latest technology to help homebuyers save money and close on time, every time.

Since the day we opened in 2005, we have upheld our mission to make homebuying easier and protect new homebuyers from risky loan practices. We’re based in the Chicagoland area but are licensed in California, Florida, and Utah with a team of seasoned professionals who are trained to make sure we find the right loan for our customers — not for us.

Our Story

Emerald Mortgage started in 2005 after Victor was looking for a change in career from IT and years of working up the corporate ladder. He was looking for a career that offered the opportunity to help others and make work more rewarding. Soon after starting Lisa joined the team and they have been growing our Emerald team ever since.

Through years of ups and downs in the economy, a huge recession, and tough times for mortgage brokers we have stayed strong and kept a very loyal customer base. We pride ourselves on strong morals and always putting our customers' needs first. Working hard to make every deal work, especially when others say it is not possible.

We have enjoyed watching so many of our team members grow and move up in the business. Some have been with us since the beginning. Now after graduating college, and following their own paths for a while, Victor and Lisa's two daughters have joined the Emerald team.
